What should I do to join the Baja Missions Team and serve on this trip?
Step 1: Pray about it! Ask God if this is something He wants you to do. Step 2: Talk with your parents, mentors, leaders and pray with them about it. Steps 3-5 are ALL DUE FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2023 @ 5:00PM PT: * Step 3a: Fill out the Application HERE * Step 3b: For children 17 years and under, parents/guardians need fill to out the Parent/Guardian Questionnaire HERE. * Step 4: $100 non-refundable deposit. Click HERE to submit online. Include your name in the "On Behalf of" section. Paper checks can also be mailed to:
Baja Missions PO Box 9734 Marina Del Rey, CA 90295 (Make sure you earmark with your email and name for your deposit) * Step 5: Write a support letter and a list of at least 30 potential supporters. Submit (a) support letter AND (b) supporter list to the online application from step 1, OR email both to bajamissionsteam@gmail.com (for a sample support letter outline, click HERE. For donor slips, click HERE). Step 6: Attend ALL the training meetings on the following Sundays from 4:00pm to 5:30pm:
Step 7: Spread the word! Share what you are doing and keep sending out your support letter. Step 8: Give thanks and praise to God for how He's working in your life! Thank Him for who He is, what He has done, what He is doing and what He is going to do! |
