What should I do to join the 2019 Baja Mission Team and serve on this trip?
Step 1: Pray about it! Ask God if this is something He wants you to do. Step 2: Talk with your parents, mentors, leaders and pray with them about it. Step 3a: Fill out the 2019 Application. (Click here for the application) (Oprime aqui para la aplicación). APPLICATION DEADLINE: October 1, 2019 Step 3b: For children, 17 years and under, please have your parents/guardian fill out the Parent/Guardian Questionnaire. (Click here for the Parent/Guardian Questionnaire) Step 4: Write a support letter and a list of at least 30 potential supporters. Email a copy of (1) support letter AND (2) supporter list to bajamissionsteam@gmail.com by October 1, 2019 (sample support letter outline click here). Step 5: $100 non-refundable deposit is due October 1, 2019. Click here to pay online. Include your name in the "comments" section. Step 6: Attend ALL the meetings at Journey South Bay Church at 4:00pm (2761 190th Street, Redondo Beach, CA 90278). * Sunday, September 15, 2019 * Sunday, October 6, 2019 * Sunday, November 3, 2019 * Sunday, December 1, 2019 * Sunday, December 15, 2019 Step 7: Spread the word! Share what you are doing and keep sending out your support letter. Step 8: Give thanks and praise to God for how He's working in your life!
