May 6, 2023: Some highlights from the Baja Gala day:
- Playing with 45 scholarship elementary school kids
- Meeting with Jasmine, who is individually supported by @BajaMissionsTeam for her training to be a chef. She personally thanked us with her own pastry creation
- Hearing the stories of current scholarship high school and college students, including Miguel, who has no electricity at home, yet got an MFA in graphic arts, and is now a few months from getting an MBA
- @BajaMissionsTeam donating $20k to the BajaEd scholarship fund, along with 100 backpacks donated by @VesselGolf for @Baja_Ed and @Communidad_Encuentro

We would not have been able to build a total of FIVE houses in four days for the Onofre, Orea Hernandez, Vargas, Lopez Fernandez, and Perez Gutierrez families without you!
